Welcome
On behalf of the CSU Law Alumni Association Board of Trustees, welcome to our website.
Each year, the Board of Trustees works tirelessly to plan and host different programs and events in an effort to achieve our mission. Our mission is unequivocally devoted to Cleveland State University College of Law and especially the gifted law students who will soon become our colleagues in our legal community.
Our organization has a few important functions – to be social, to be the right arm of the law school, and to raise funds – which we in turn give back to students in the form of scholarship dollars. As a social organization, we host a number of events where our alums gather and reconnect in a friendly and fun environment. As the right arm of the law school, we have witnessed firsthand what the outreach of our alums has done for securing both the enrollment of admitted students to the law school and employment placement at firms, corporations or other legal practice. As a fundraiser, we host CLE programs throughout the year, we host our flagship event – the Annual Recognition Luncheon, and we ask our devoted alums to become Life Members, a special institutional membership commitment. The funds we raise, through the tremendous efforts of our Trustees, go strictly to the CSU|LAW students in the form of scholarship awards.
We are a volunteer organization that strategically operates, and to do so, it requires so much of us; it is the students who drive this volunteer board to put on the programs and host the events that allow us to give back so much. But we do so because of the respect and commitment we share for Cleveland State University College of Law. We are the best law school alumni association in the country because of the dedication of our vast alumni network, both locally and across the country, and their devotion to the futures of our students.
On behalf of the CSULAA Board of Trustees, we thank you for your support, commitment and guidance in all our efforts.
